While other engravers ask you to pick from pre-made designs or type text into a box, we believe the most meaningful gifts are born from authentic ideas- not cookie cutter templates.

How Our Collaborative Design Service Works

UPON PLACING YOUR ORDER

1. We start with your vision

When you place an order with our Collaborative Design service, we ask that you type up an outline of what you'd like to see. This isn't required as you will work back and forth with Talon, but if you do provide this, he'll be able to get your first design done faster.

AFTER WE RECEIVE YOUR ORDER

2. We send you the first draft within 48 hours

Talon, our design expert, creates your first concepts using professional tools. These aren't quick sketches- they're carefully crafted visualizations of what he understands you to want, based on the information you give him, ready to engrave when you say the word.

DURING THE DESIGN PROCESS

3. We revise as many times as it takes

This is where the magic happens. Throughout the email exchange, Talon'll share different fonts, adjust layouts- perfect all the details. Want to see it in Wild West lettering? Done. Prefer Victorian script? We'll show you options. Not quite right? We'll keep working. We can do anything, just say the words.

IN THE FORM OF A BEAUTIFUL ENGRAVING

4. We bring it all to life

Once you tell Talon you love the design, he'll engrave it before we finish the product as necessary- then it's done! Every piece is inspected, finished, and prepared with the care it deserves.

Here's A Hypothetical Example

Step #1

Once the order is received, Talon begins by reaching out- since he's missing a key detail- confirming the order and asking for the additional information.

Step #2

After receiving the email, Jean responds with the information Talon requested.

Step #3

In order to get a taste of what Jean would like, given the wide variety of approaches he could take, Talon will put together a selection of samples for her to choose from. Then he'll send them to Jean for her to look over.

Step #4

After reviewing the array of samples, Jean picks out what she likes, responding with feedback, suggestions, and/or further instructions.

Step #5

After receiving Jean's instructions, Talon made the desired adjustments and sends that back for review.

Step #6

After seeing that Talon has perfected the design, the Jean says "I love it!"

Step #7

Since Jean only saw the embellishment, and not the full engraving design, Talon will prepare the full design just to confirm that she sees exactly what he will engrave and that it is, indeed, perfect.

Step #8

After receiving approval for the design, Talon starts engraving!

Step #9 - Complete!

Now the product is engraved and Mike begins finishing it. Once it's ready, we'll ship it out to Jean!
